Wilhelmina Albertina Knuth, preferably known as Minnie was born in Prussia in 1881. She talked about remembering coming through Ellis island when she was about 4 lears old, she remembered clutching her blanky (blanket) and seeing the Statue of Liberty Go by.
Minnie was the mother of 10 but only 8 survived passed birth or infancy. Minnie married William Knuth in about 1901 - just 1 year into the 20th Century

Wilhelmine was a family name of Royalty in Prussia in the 18th Century
The date of this picture is unknown but is believed to be from the 1930's. Minnie died in 1942 at the age of 61 from complications of having a goiter. Here husband William survied until 1955 when he died at 77, having suffered from Heart disease
